Welcome to the advert of my personal 2004 Porsche 911 (996) Carrera 4S Convertible, finished in Basalt Black Metallic over a black heated leather interior and the highly desirable ‘Turbo II’ Alloys which are unmarked and wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Tyres.

This example has covered 100,300 miles but has been well cared for (23 recorded services) and offers an engaging, analogue driving experience that’s becoming increasingly rare. The 996 C4S is widely regarded as one of the most desirable variants of the 996 generation thanks to its looks, capability, and everyday usability.

These are becoming a true modern classic, this model combines the wide-bodied stance of the Turbo with the unmistakable 911 naturally aspirated flat 6 driving experience.

I took this vehicle in as part of a trade sale via my performance car dealership a few months ago, with the intention of tucking it away and using it in the good weather as I was in the market for one of these anyway!

I have since covered circa 1000 miles hassle free but due to change of plan and purchasing another toy this needs to make way, due to vehicle age it does not suit our vehicle profile for me to retail.

This vehicle has an extensive service and maintenance record with all original Porsche Owners books, service book and handbook present along with the original lady owned handwritten order form and purchase invoice to the value of £75k!

This car has an excellent history with a folder full of invoices for maintenance works complete over the years by Porsche Main Dealer and Independent Specialists, I’ve counted 23 services within the paperwork/ service book! There is also paperwork for maintenance/ repairs to the cab roof over the years too.

Over the last 7 years/ 12k miles it has had circa £14,000 spent, to name a few the following jobs have been complete, but not limited to (Paperwork Available on Request):

During my short ownership the vehicle has also had a maintenance machine polish, the alloys are also kerb mark free and appear to have been refurbished not too long ago, the tyres all round have plenty of tread too and the roof operates and seals as it should.

Whilst the car does have a few minor age related marks, I would consider it to be in great condition for it’s age and mileage, the interior in the expected areas does have some signs of wear (door handles etc) the LCD display for the AC is also in need of repair, this is only circa £100 AC still operates as it should, but generally very clean.

There is only one sign of rust that I’m aware of and this is located on the driver’s side rear arch and is very minor and could be simply rectified and has been priced accordingly.
